Welcome To Frances Street!

Hi! I'm Kathleen. Thank you for stopping by to check out my blog. I am a South Florida photographer, born and raised on Frances Street in Key West, FL. I made so many memories on that street as a child and feel like my photography caputures those kinds of memories for other people: moments that are real and personal to each and every client that I photograph. I think I was originally drawn to photography because it was a good excuse not to be the one in front of the camera...I am probably the most unphotogenic photographer you will ever meet! However, once I started learning this amazing craft I became ADDICTED! Addicted to capturing beautiful, natural, candid moments that would otherwise be forgotten. Can I just tell you how excited I am to share this post! I recently had the privilege of becoming a member of a very fun, very FLY group of women who share a common passion for photography. I attended my first meeting this week and although I was super intimidating to be among so much talent I was also so thrilled to have such an amazing opportunity to learn, grow and share from each other. Since the meeting was focused on new membership we had a little get to know you exercise where we took some head shots of each other. It was more of a challenge for me to be in front of the camera but regardless it was lots of fun and I can’t wait for our next meet up! Here are just a few of the beautiful women that make up SoFly!
