I love parties! Especially ones that involve great food and great friends. Allison’s shower was no exception, everything was beautiful even the weather! It was alot of fun and here are just a few of the images from the afternoon..

One of the best things about being a photographer is that not only do I get the privilege of capturing precious moments for my clients but I also get to do it for friends and family! My sister in law wanted some family pics and of course I was happy to do it…a perfect excuse to hang out with my sweet little niece and nephew! They are a silly and very active bunch and although we didn’t exactly get any “norman rockwellish” portraits I think we were able to get some great images that truly capture them!

It was such a perfect day…sunny, breezy…one of those days that makes me count my lucky starts that I live in Florida!

I am such a nerd and I honestly don’t know how to write this without sounding incredibly cheesy so I will just go for it. I have this friend named Katie. I love her. She is a great friend, a loving mommy and super talented! I got to photograph her and her beautiful family yesterday and it was seriously SO MUCH FUN! There is just something about shooting with a fellow photographer and friend…you’re just on the same page and its GREAT!

We started out with the whole family and just tried to capture some real life Hobbie Family shots, so of course ice cream had to be involved Here is a preview of our “mini” family session.
Then daddy and the kids headed home so that we could get some shots of just katie and the newest Hobbie to be, which happens to be a BOY! I seriously CAN’T wait to meet him!! So, without further ado her is the beautiful Mrs. Hobbie and her bump!
