Welcome To Frances Street!

Hi! I'm Kathleen. Thank you for stopping by to check out my blog. I am a South Florida photographer, born and raised on Frances Street in Key West, FL. I made so many memories on that street as a child and feel like my photography caputures those kinds of memories for other people: moments that are real and personal to each and every client that I photograph. I am currently living in Jupiter, Florida with my sweet husband and our 3 year old son. I think I was originally drawn to photography because it was a good excuse not to be the one in front of the camera...I am probably the most unphotogenic photographer you will ever meet! However, once I started learning this amazing craft I became ADDICTED! Addicted to capturing beautiful, natural, candid moments that would otherwise be forgotten. Brian and Brianna Preview

I have attempted to write the beginning of this post like 4 times now and keep erasing it because I just can’t find the right words to describe one of my dearest and closest friends…Brianna and I have known each other for over a decade and getting to be her matron of honor this past weekend was such an honor and a privilege not to mention a whole lotta fun! I seriously just got back in town this morning from a weekend of celebrating Brian and Brianna and I must admit I feel a little depressed because it was so great seeing old friends and picking up right were we left off that I didn’t want to leave :( However, this AMAZING Florida weather we are having right now definitely helped lift my spirits! Anyway I have a ton of editing to do for the pics I took this weekend but I wanted to post a little preview of some snapshots I took of the Bride and Groom the day before they tied the knot!!

Current Obsessions

So I haven’t posted anything in a bit and I thought it would be fun to share some of my current obsessions:

1. Hummus: For whatever reason I have been obsessed with it lately. I’ve always been a fan but lately I just can’t get enough!

2. My life as Liz: ok so I know that it’s supposed to be real and as we all know nothing MTV produces under the premise of being real actually is but regardless this show cracks me up. If you watch it, how hilarious was she dressed as a grape??!!

3. Bejeweled Blitz – This facebook game has taken over my life…I need a support group…somebody please help me!

4. Texturing photos in photoshop, I have been playing around alot with texturizing and although I really don’t know what I’m doing, its still fun to play with. Here is a really “mild” one of Jonas during bathtime!

5. My shootsac! This thing is amazing and I have NO IDEA what I did without it!!

From the minute I met these two I knew it was gonna be a fun time. Little Ashley had such a cute personality, she was a bit camera shy at first but it didn’t take her long at all to warm up to the camera and was seriously cracking me up at times. Thanks girls for a great afternoon, hope you enjoy the preview..
